I’ve been using this body lotion for years, and I probably should have written this review a long time ago.
I originally found Nurah’s products while trying to find something that would actually address my overall body complexion, not just my face. That’s one thing I really appreciate about her line. There are countless products focused on making your face look more even, smooth, and youthful, while the rest of your body gets completely forgotten. Your skin is your entire body, not just your face.
With consistent use, I personally noticed a visible change in my skin tone, including a lighter overall appearance, along with smoother and softer-looking skin. I also noticed my skin looking more youthful and even. But what surprised me most was how much that change affected my experience of being seen. I started noticing more attention from people, and even the way I experienced social interactions and opportunities felt different. There was something about seeing myself differently that changed how I carried myself and how I experienced the way other people responded to me.
One of the biggest differences for me has been taking pictures. I don’t feel like I have to search for perfect sunlight, constantly adjust my angles, shift around, or force a filter just to feel good about how I look. Pictures feel much more effortless now. That alone has been a huge change for me.
I’ve also learned through trial and error that consistency matters. Exfoliating and keeping up with my routine made a noticeable difference for me, and I personally love incorporating baths into my routine because that’s when I feel like I’m really able to take care of my entire body.
And here’s the part I probably should confess: I was gatekeeping this. 😂😭 I knew these products were working for me, so instead of telling everybody about them, I basically kept my little skincare discovery to myself. But staying quiet doesn’t exactly help a small business that has consistently helped me for years. So I’m finally giving credit where credit is due.
I’ve purchased this lotion multiple times over the years, and Nurah has always been incredibly kind, responsive, and supportive whenever I’ve communicated with her. That level of customer service means just as much to me as the products themselves.
If you’re looking for something specifically for your body and you’re willing to actually stay consistent with your skincare routine, this is one I personally keep coming back to. ❤️
